Kylie Minogue and her fiance made a rare public appearance together at the ARIA Awards to push for marriage equality.
Minogue and Joshua Sasse introduced Troye Sivan’s performance of ‘Youth’ to shine a spotlight on the British actor’s ‘Say I Do Down Under’ campaign for marriage equality.
She first joked her lover was supposed to bring her onto the stage as if he was carrying his bride over the traditional threshold.
“You were supposed to pick me up,” she said.
While they have been engaged for several months they have vowed not to get married until marriage equality is achieved in Australia.
Minogue and Sasse weren’t the only ones to make the political statement.
